HeartBreakTunes facebookCORROSION OF CONFORMITY
Corrosion of Confirmity used to play a brand of crossover and thrash, but their sound evolved to a heavy metal sound with Southern rock and blues influences and hooky brutal hardcore. Now C.O.C. does what it does best: beating the crap out of you with punching guitar riffs, sharp punk vocals and a wall of tempo changes and variation. In short: old school hardcore fury meets gigantic doom riffage and twangy guitar solos. C.O.C. plays ugly music the best, just as we like it.
Doom and sludge metal always make for excellence, as is the case with Black Cobra. The difference with other bands is that BC (a two-piece band!!) speeds up the tempo, which makes it addictive and brutal as fuck. Driving riffs and colossal guitar work get the blood pumping. With its constant pounding and rolling drums and chanting vocals, Black Cobra creates an apocalyptic sound, that incites the audience. al.
Avant-garde psychedelic, experimental doom metal which creativity is notable, as they are not satisfied with the slow, down-tuned fuzzy guitar brand of doom, but add many other elements, like Moog synths and industrial effects to create a psychedelic sound.
Instrumental thunder doom, with neck-braking percussion, alternating with sludgy guitars. Creative, in-your-face, not-to-be-missed metal!
